Don’t forget to vote for your favourite players of 2014. Please remember I need (in order) your top 3 Running Backs and top 3 Receivers plus your number 1 & 2 Quarterbacks, Kickers and Coaches. Vote for your players based on BUMS points (see attached), how much you enjoy them, what they meant to their BUMS/NFL team or just the fact they were on your roster. The deadline is Saturday January 31st but please get your votes in as soon as possible. Previous League MVPs include last year’s winner RB Marshawn Lynch, Adrian Peterson (MVP in 2012 and 2009), 2011’s MVP Tight End Rob Gronkowski, 2010 winner Arian Foster and receiver Larry Fitzgerald who was MVP in 2008. BUMS Team of December December’s team scored 237 points at a cost of just $8 million. That’s more than every team had through the final two months! Leading the team is Head Coach Mike Tomlin (Karori and Pittsburgh) winning all four games for 24 points at a Franchise cost of $1m. Josh Brown (Perivale and The Giants) is your kicker (51 points for $0.5m) with another trading day 2 pickup, Tony Romo (Langley and Dallas) quarterbacking (36 points for $2m). Your running backs are Le’Veon Bell (Gang Green and Pittsburgh – 36 points for $2m) and DeMarco Murray (Sofa and Dallas) – 30 points and franchised for $1m). At receiver Trading Day 2 signee Mike Evans (Westmorland and Tampa Bay) was the top scorer with 24 points. Three players scored 18 and all cost $0.5m, so you can perm any two from these three:- Alshon Jeffery (Chicago and franchised by Phoenix), Antonio Brown (Pittsburgh and Leamington franchisee) & Antonio Gates (Brockley and San Diego). BUMS on Seats On Sunday we will be at BUMS HQ at 8pm to watch the NFC Championship game live as Green Bay travel to Seattle and then we will be at Johnnies on Monday from 6pm to see Denver host New England. The AFC Championship game starts at 11:30 Sunday night in the UK so stay off the internet on Monday and no spoilers please. As always all are welcome just let the hosts know.
